I’ve been nordic ski racing since my freshman year of high school when I took it up as cross-training for cross-country running. Once I discovered that skiing was more fun and that I as never going to be gaunt enough to be competitive as a runner, the transformation to cross-country skier was complete. Actually, what I really love about skiing is how friendly the people are. Everywhere I go, cross-country skiers are fun, interesting, and very generous people.
