XC Oregon 2015/16 Athlete Applications

Applications and expressions of interest for new XC Oregon funded-level athletes starting the 2015/2016 ski year are now be accepted. XC Oregon also welcomes an unlimited number of non-funded “associate” and master athletes to contact us at any time. 2016 Oregon Spring Camp (public event)

Due to snow conditions and the cancellation of national team camps in Bend this year, the 2015 Oregon Spring Camp will not be held. Bummer, but pretty anticipated given the historically awful winter on the West Coast. The (very) tentative dates for next year will be May 26-30, 2016. Check back to this site in March/April 2016 for the final plan.

Featuring the best late spring skiing on the planet, morning sessions on-snow, groomed ski sessions, optional afternoon dryland clinics, training plan lecture, video review, optional world-class physiology lab testing … and much more! 2015 Oregon Fall Camp (public event)

December 3 – 13, 2015

COCC XC Ski Conditioning Class (public event)

The 2015 edition of the popular Central Oregon Community College XC ski class taught by XC Oregon Coach/Director J.D. Downing runs September 28 – November 18, 2015. Registration for non-degree seeking students begins September 9 (on-line only). The class typically fills quickly and registration closes by the first week of Fall quarter — so DO NOT WAIT to get your spot! Read more about this great XC fitness opportunity….

2015 PDX Training Group (public event)

For the 13th consecutive year (!) the XC Oregon race team in concert with the Teacup Chapter of the Oregon Nordic Club present conditioning sessions for XC skiers of all ages and abilities right in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Just a small donation (for Teacup members) covers the expenses for four sessions on Saturday mornings (9:30-11am) in October and November. No special equipment needed. All sessions rain or shine. The schedule and info for Fall 2015 to be posted here by mid-September.
