The XC Oregon tradition of having a large pool of Associate athletes continues in 09/10 with an exciting mix of new and veteran athletes.
Our confirmed returnees include:
– “Uber-mountain” husband/wife duo of Molly & Kevin Grove (able and willing to climb tall mountains at a moments notice).
– Custom woodworking maestro Berkley Leach.
– School teacher Lea “Death Ray On Contact” Julson.
– The multi-talented veteran Mary Wellington
– Event organizer and famous-man-about-COCC Matt Plummer.
– Our PDX and Hood River vets Ryan Ness and Jason Lemieux.
– We are also hoping to coax Spence Newell off the bike a couple times this winter plus hoping to coax Michael Heidenreich out of the office.
And introducing our brand spanking shiny new Associates:
– Andrew Boone: 2nd place in the PPP2009, loads of bike/run/dual/tri podiums piling up.
– Catherine Humblet: former U.S. National Team rower, our newest PDX satellite skier.
– Damon Kluck: former pro rider turned runner/skier guy.
